CELEBRATING CHIKONDI CHIJOZI AND THE MHRC COMMISSIONERS.
The Centre for Human Rights Education, Advice and Assistance (CHREAA) and its staff proudly celebrate Chikondi Chijozi, the Criminal Justice Lead at the Southern Africa Litigations Centre, who began her journey at CHREAA. She was appointed Commissioner of the Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC) for a second term, with President Chakwera presiding over her oath-taking ceremony today at Kamuzu Palace, Lilongwe.
Chikondi Chijozi's unwavering commitment to justice and human rights is truly commendable. Her dedication and expertise will continue to make a positive impact in the field.
The 8th cohort of MHRC Commissioners includes esteemed individuals like Boniface Massah, Dr. Sunduzwayo Madise, Scader Louis, Viwemi Chavula, Teresa Chirwa-Ndanga, Andrew Kavala, Grace Tikambenji Malera and Rosemary Kanyuka. Together, they form a strong team ready to champion human rights in Malawi.
